چکیده

Purpose: Colon cancer is amongst the most commonly diagnosed carcinoma globally and ranks 3rd highest of all kinds tumors. In present study effect oxobedfordia acid on colon cell viability colorectal tumor growth in vivo was investigated. Methods: Cytotoxicity SW480, HCT116, FHC cells evaluated by MTT assay. mice induced implanting subcutaneously 2 x 106 HT-29 cells/mouse right flank. Various parameters, including viability, expression levels factors, were also assessed. Results: Treatment with significantly reduced SW480 HCT116 (p < 0.05). Furthermore, caused increased miR-331-3p cells. Moreover, a significant reduction NRP2 apoptosis induction Oxobedfordia treatment for 48 h p53 p-c- Jun levels, but Bcl-2 mouse model cancer, retarded growth. acid-treated mice, elevated while level lowered when compared control group 0.05).Conclusion: suppresses inhibits through enhancement expression. Hence, can potentially be developed as an agent management cancer.

Thymoquinone reduces mouse colon tumor cell invasion and inhibits tumor growth in murine colon cancer models

We have shown that thymoquinone (TQ) is a potent antitumor agent in human colorectal cancer cells. In this study, we evaluated TQ's therapeutic potential in two different mice colon cancer models [1,2-dimethyl hydrazine (DMH) and xenografts]. We also examined TQ effects on the growth of C26 mouse colorectal carcinoma spheroids and assessed tumor invasion in vitro. Mice were treated with saline,...

Genistein Induces Apoptosis and Inhibits Proliferation of HT29 Colon Cancer Cells

Soybean isoflavone genistein has multiple anticancer properties and its pro-apoptotic and anti-proliferative effects have been studied in different cancer cells. However, the mechanisms of action of genistein and its molecular targets on human colon cells have not been fully elucidated. Therefore, caspase-3 and p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (p38 MAPK) as the main therapeutic targets...

Growth Inhibition of Human Gynecologic and Colon Cancer Cells by Phyllanthus watsonii through Apoptosis Induction

Phyllanthus watsonii Airy Shaw is an endemic plant found in Peninsular Malaysia. Although there are numerous reports on the anti cancer properties of other Phyllanthus species, published information on the cytotoxicity of P. watsonii are very limited. The present study was carried out with bioassay-guided fractionation approach to evaluate the cytotoxicity and apoptosis induction capability of ...

TR3/Nur77 in colon cancer cell apoptosis.

The orphan nuclear receptor TR3/Nur77 has emerged as a viable candidate in the coordinate regulation of cell proliferation and apoptosis, essential for maintaining normal architecture in rapidly renewing tissues such as the colonic mucosa. TR3 induces apoptosis in a number of cell lineages exposed to proapoptotic stimuli by directly targeting the mitochondria, inducing cytochrome c release. Her...
